Butterflies

A Madeira parent brought in 2 caterpillars for our little scientists to observe. 
Of course the students absolutely loved learning about these beautiful insects. 

We made observations, discussed changes, drew their life cycle in our science notebooks, and enjoyed watching the Monarch Butterflies fly as we released them into the school's butterfly garden. 
My students have been begging for pictures on the blog!
