You've Been Gobbled!! {start a fun act of kindness around your school...}

Oh my goodness...
My students and I are having an absolute blast watching our secret GOBBLE continue around our school.

Just one act of kindness ...
 has grown...
and grown...
and continues to move throughout our school.

Our principal just happened to stop in our classroom as we were preparing to start our gobble.
We decided to send him so treats -
and remind him to keep quiet. :)

So sneaky...
ready to go gobble!

THANKFUL GOODIES!!

Love teaching during this time of the year.
Everyone is settled in, working hard, and growing in so many ways.

In the month of November we work on gratitude, how to show others we are thankful, and much more.

I just posted these Thankful Goodies on TpT.

The pack includes ideas and materials for many fun thankful writing and art projects.

One of my FAVORITES from last year:

Creating THANKFUL books.

They were absolutely adorable and the students really enjoyed making them. My students' parents went NUTS over them.
A sweet keepsake for sure!

Check out the post I wrote about them last year by clicking {here}

Looking forward to making them this week with my class.

THANKFUL BOOKS

We are welcoming parents tomorrow for our Thanksgiving Celebration.

The students will be performing several songs and then we will head down to our classroom for snacks and a family craft.

The children will also be sharing their Thankful books. I {love, love, love} them!!

THANK YOU!!!

I am so blessed to have a job that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!!
My kindergarten friends are amazing and they inspire me to be the very best teacher I can be!

My students and their parents surprised me Tuesday with a very special gift. I was so overwhelmed (with joy and some serious tears!) that I really didn't really open/show the whole gift. I was just so overwhelmed by their generosity and thoughtfulness!
Several of the moms made me promise to post it on the blog so that they could see it
So.... here it is:
 a new school bag
personalized with quotes from the children!
(see why I cried!?)

an amazing 12 Days of Christmas Break book
Each day included a gift card to fun places around town like:
 Mitchell's Spa

Blue Manatee Bookstore

and Target...

My students are a hoot! Look at all of this adorable owl stuff!

Thank you all so very much for my gifts, your kind words and support, and most importantly, THANK YOU for sharing your amazing children with me!

A special shout out to my room mom Beth who worked so hard to make this surprise come together. She is super creative and so, so kind! I am thankful to have her as my room mom and that she lets me spend so much time with her awesome son, Sam! :) Check out her blog here:

Wishing everyone a fun and restful break!

THANK YOU!!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Our last day of school was Thursday. We had a wonderful time during our end of the year celebration with parents. Everyone enjoyed eating pizza, looking through their memory books, and making plans for summer play dates.

At the end of our celebration I shared a movie..

This year has just flown by and I will miss my students SO MUCH! It was a nice way to end our year- reflecting on all of the fun we've had. I gave each family a DVD copy.

My parents absolutely overwhelmed me with very special gifts.

One was a very sweet memory book that includes adorable pictures of each child and a special message from each of them!

They also made me an adorable scrapbook story:
