Using Notebooks in the Classroom

I am looking forward to welcoming my new Kindergarten Friends to school next week!!

I have been busy prepping in the classroom...

One thing that I am *really* excited about is our learning notebooks.

We use our learning notebooks to record our discoveries in reading, math, and science. 

The students take serious ownership of their learning... and it lends itself to natural differentiating!

My husband, kiddos, and I just returned from a dream vacation - Turks and Caicos!!

It was absolutely stunning!

I don't know if it was the turquoise waters, salty air, island vibe, or just spending relaxing time with my family but...

I feel COMPLETELY renewed!

Feels great to be back to my old self!

We sold our home that we have lived in for the last 10 years.

We are building a new home which has been really exciting. 

I have been pinning like crazy....
