Fun Light Box Designs

Oh my goodness!

I have been having so much fun creating designs for my classroom light box.
#nerd

Here's a sneak peek at some of the designs:

You can find all of my light box designs here:

You simply print these on transparency paper, cut and insert into the light box.
*Buy your transparency paper at Walmart or Amazon - WAY cheaper than at the office supply stores.* :)

I purchased the Heidi Swapp Light Box at Michaels. It was 40% off, plus I used my teacher ID to get an additional 15% off.
Woohoo!

Almost finished adding 5 more designs to this growing bundle.
:)

Hope everyone is surviving back to school!

Sorting Ideas

We started sorting in math last week.

There are SO many great ideas and resources out there for teaching kindergarten students about sorting...

Here are some of my favorite ideas...

Loveeee Kathryn at Kindergarten Kindergarten's post on sorting.

It's great creating an anchor chart
 WITH the students...

I like using this sorting pack which includes manipulatives and student sorting books.

Classroom Update & Pics

It was super fun getting organized and changing up my classroom theme this summer.
While having an owl theme was a hoot,
it was time for a change.

Excited to share just a few changes.

Shout out to the Target Dollar Spot for a few fun changes in how I welcomed students to Kindergarten this year.

Loving their adorable felt banners - and it's been so fun seeing all of the different ways teachers are using them.

You guys.
How darn cute are these adorable faces?!
Learning in Wonderland had me smiling at these cuties and draining all of my ink! :):)
Love, love, love!

I LOVE everything in her store!

These non-fiction book bin labels came from my teammate Jonelle from A Place Called Kindergarten
LOVE them!

I also had a few fun changes for parent night including:
