Celebrating 15 years very soon!!!

Our "before and after pictures" from The Amazing Race.
It's an awesome charity race held in Loveland/Milford, Ohio every year. This year's race was 13 miles of biking and 3 1/2 miles of running, plus swimming, floating on the river, trivia, and super fun challenges.
We are super excited about 2015's race. :)
{note: we are so as turtles, but have an absolute blast together!}

Scott at his 6th Grade Dance...
he's now half-way through his first year of Jr. High.
Ahhh!!!!

We bridged from Daisy Scouts to Brownies this year!
I have absolutely loved helping lead this incredible group of girls.
Madilynn and I love the extra girl time together.
We have a ton of fun planned for '15 including jazzersize, volunteering at an animal shelter, overnight at the zoo, cookie sales, hiking, spa night with moms, and more!

From our first camping trip.
So much fun singing, hiking, dancing, cooking, and laughing.

was an absolutely amazing trip for my family.
We enjoying the alpine slide, hiking, train rides, shopping, sulfer springs, chuck wagon shows, and more!

is always a fun summer getaway!

It was the year of the nerd at my house this Halloween.

Scott hosted a super fun Halloween Party to raise money for his favorite charity, A Kid Again.
So proud of this young man!
Mike and I survived hanging with 34 junior high kids for the night! :)

Mike and Madilynn went as nerds to the father daughter dance.
Here's a look back at other years.

Madilynn turned 7 this year.
Current loves:
cooking, baking, Girl Scouts, Dance, writing, clothes, and accessories.

Scott started junior high this year.
I can't believe it!!
Current loves:
SOCIALIZING, running, baseball, helping others, science, and technology.

I feel SO blessed that I have a job that I love.
Kindergarten is the BEST.

 I love this picture...
It captures my Granny's awesome fun-loving, happy personality... dancing away at my wedding...
I lost my sweet Granny in late November.
Granny was more like a mom to me. She had a huge role in my childhood, and was a critical support to me when my Dad died when I was in high school...

I have so many wonderful memories of adventures with my Granny.
More importantly, I have the life lessons she shared ones that I admire, strive to achieve, and hope to pass on to my own children.
1. How to have a loving marriage.
2. Making your children the center of your life.
3. Following Christ.
4. ALWAYS treating others with kindness through your words and actions.
Miss you Granny!

 has been incredible!
It was all about:

 connecting with friends...

  enjoying family...

creating and enjoying special gifts...

hosting...
 games...
and tons of fun with these two!!!!!

    Amy,
You are such an incredible mama. It is clear that Scott and Maddy are your world. They will absolutely cherish the memories you've created with them. There was not a dry eye in the whole place when you spoke about your Grandma. What a moving speech about the special relationship you two had. She is very proud of you and it's obvious you are carrying on those life lessons. We are so proud of you. I am looking forward to reading through your blog. Wow! Your students and families must love that you have created this for them. Blessings in the new year. - Kari and Brett

  6. In minutes like this, we may ponder where we will understand that specific measure of whole that we require. We should simply consider the cash that we have close by and the investment funds we have in the bank.check cashing
