Green Acres Trip to Study Pond & Trees

We had a great time on our trip to Green Acres. We explored the woods area and learned about plants and trees. 

The students loved finding pond creatures including tadpoles, dragonflies, water striders, snails, and more!

My students were super excited to check the Bald Eagle nest this week and discover 2 eaglets have hatched!

This nest has been such a wonderful addition to our Non-Fiction unit. I just love the students' excitement for discussing, researching, and writing about their Bald Eagle knowledge.
