Luau Celebration

We had a fun time at our

 End of Kindergarten Luau. 

(except for the part where I read this poem and cried my eyes out)

I loved seeing my kindergarten friends cuddled up with their guests to watch our 

Kindergarten Memories slideshow. 

or to look through their kindergarten memory book. 

Only 1 more day with these silly kids!

Speaking of growing too fast...

Here is my son and his best friend arriving at his 6th Grade Dance. 

My daughter was SO excited about researching and creating a project about Sea Turtles. 

We found a lot of great info on National Geographic Kids:

We only have 4 days of school left!?!

Field Day Fun

We were a tiny bit bummed when we saw the rain on Friday morning. 

Did we cry?

Goodness, no!

We just kept walking (skipping, jumping, and scooting) along, singing our song...

because it's all good! 

A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Gulick for her hard word organizing our indoor field day!

The students will never look at our library the same way again. :)

Celebrating Mom

Happy, Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing moms out there!

This week we celebrated our moms in my daisy scout troop. We planted flowers and painted pots and picture frames.

I got these sweet shots of my daisy girls with their wonderful moms for the frames:

We also enjoyed some mud pudding. 

I was able to attend a Mother's Day Tea at my daughter's school. 

Oh my word.

It was the SWEETEST thing ever. 

They sang songs, served us lemonade, and  shared sweet gifts.

Oh, how I love being a mom to these 2 cuties!

My students made special potholders and cards for their moms.
