Go Fish!
My students performed in their Kindergarten musical "Go Fish' last week and were ABSOLUTELY adorable!!

Yum!

I am loving all of the new recipes I have found on Pinterest and made this week:

I have to give a shout out to my hard-working handy husband!

He built this gorgeous deck - designed and constructed the whole thing with my son!

Thank you, thank you to all of the parents who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so special for us.
Your cards and sweet emails have meant the world to me!

Thank you!

Five For Friday {October 2, 2015}

I seriously feel like summer ended 2.6 seconds ago and now...
it's October!

One of my favorite times of the year!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about fall!

Check out my pinterest boards for fun ideas:

Did you know that Walgreens has an app?

Oh my goodness - what a HUGE time saver for processing photos from your cell phone.

I usually use my good camera in the classroom, but there are many times I need to snap something quickly so I will grab my cell phone.
I would then need to email to myself or hook up USB, download, then go to Walgreens' website and upload them.....

Now I just tap my Walgreens app - choose the photos I want to print, and they are ready in minutes! :) Woohoo!

Isn't picture day in kindergarten the best?
I LOVE seeing my cuties come in with bows, accessories, ties, and adorable duds.

PICTURE DAY CUTIES:

Here is one way I stay organized as a working mom.

Prep!

On Sundays I make at least 2 meals that we can warm up and add a quick salad or side to...

I also prep tons of lunch options and ready to go snacks for my kiddos.

They LOVE packing their lunch when things look bright, colorful, and organized...

Pictured: I did hard boiled eggs, turkey and pepperoni roll ups, baggies of grapes and carrots, ranch to dip, apples, and then bought ready to yogurt, applesauce, yogurts, and cheese sticks.

It takes a little time to get everything prepped (but the kids love to help!) and then it is a HUGE life saver during our busy weeks! :)

Here are some other lunch ideas:

I posted a new product on TpT!

I am so excited about my new beginning sound search pack.

I am working on a blog post about it, but for now check it out here:

Five For Friday {September 18, 2015}

Linking up with Kacey to share my Five for Friday. :)

We became sorting masters this week!

I seriously *LOVE* this anchor chart that the students helped me create.

Pushing the students to take ownership of their learning...

Their thinking, growth, and discussions have been VERY powerful as we start our math lessons by reviewing yesterday's learning and set goals for the new day!

Here is a fun sorting pack that I created...
the students have loved sorting by color, shape, size, and more!

I like to throw a sale when I share a new product, so my entire TpT store is on sale - 15% off through Sunday!

Our new home is coming together....
Tons still to do, but happy with the progress.
My husband made this heart from reclaimed wood...
he pulled it for a home built in 1875!!!!

*family portrait to be added. :)
We made these paper portraits last week.
Check out all of my growing artists -- and our name fun
