Crazy Sock Day

We had a very fun CRAZY SOCK DAY in Kindergarten.

The children just loved sharing their crazy socks with their friends.

We read Fox in Socks, traced and measured our friends' feet, and compared our socks.

Here are a few highlights from our day:

We're Going on a Number Hunt...

Number Hunt

Last week the children went on a number hunt around our school.
They all took this job very seriously!
As we searched the hallways, students
recorded all of the numbers they found in their math notebooks.

By the end of our hunt we were REALLY EXCITED about all of the numbers we had found!!

When we returned to the classroom the students had fun sharing their numbers with friends.

The students were inspired by Tana Hoban's book, Count and See.

They enjoyed finding and counting fun objects around the room and loved being in charge of taking the photographs.

Great job kindergarten friends!
