100th Day Fun

As I was starting my 100th Day post this sweet picture popped up on my TimeHop -
my daughter Madilynn dressed like a granny on her 100th Day when she was in Kindergarten.
:)

We had SO MUCH FUN celebrating our 100th day on Friday!

Some of our favorite "100" songs:

I challenged the students to read and write 100 words during free choice.
HOLY SMOKES!!
I think we ended up with over 200 words - and the students included words like
onomotopoeia
divvy
schema
brew
lair
and...
bacon. ;)

Five For Friday {October 2, 2015}

I seriously feel like summer ended 2.6 seconds ago and now...
it's October!

One of my favorite times of the year!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about fall!

Did you know that Walgreens has an app?

Oh my goodness - what a HUGE time saver for processing photos from your cell phone.

I usually use my good camera in the classroom, but there are many times I need to snap something quickly so I will grab my cell phone.
I would then need to email to myself or hook up USB, download, then go to Walgreens' website and upload them.....

Now I just tap my Walgreens app - choose the photos I want to print, and they are ready in minutes! :) Woohoo!

Isn't picture day in kindergarten the best?
I LOVE seeing my cuties come in with bows, accessories, ties, and adorable duds.

PICTURE DAY CUTIES:

Here is one way I stay organized as a working mom.

Prep!

On Sundays I make at least 2 meals that we can warm up and add a quick salad or side to...

I also prep tons of lunch options and ready to go snacks for my kiddos.

They LOVE packing their lunch when things look bright, colorful, and organized...

Pictured: I did hard boiled eggs, turkey and pepperoni roll ups, baggies of grapes and carrots, ranch to dip, apples, and then bought ready to yogurt, applesauce, yogurts, and cheese sticks.

It takes a little time to get everything prepped (but the kids love to help!) and then it is a HUGE life saver during our busy weeks! :)

I posted a new product on TpT!

I am so excited about my new beginning sound search pack.

I am working on a blog post about it, but for now check it out here:
