100th Day Fun

As I was starting my 100th Day post this sweet picture popped up on my TimeHop -
my daughter Madilynn dressed like a granny on her 100th Day when she was in Kindergarten.
:)

We had SO MUCH FUN celebrating our 100th day on Friday!

Some of our favorite "100" songs:

I challenged the students to read and write 100 words during free choice.
HOLY SMOKES!!
I think we ended up with over 200 words - and the students included words like
onomotopoeia
divvy
schema
brew
lair
and...
bacon. ;)

100th Day Hooray!

We celebrated our 100th Day on Friday.
It was so much fun!
We completed a challenge of writing 100 words!!
Created art with the number 100.

The students LOVED drawing what they'll look like when they are 100 years old.
So funny!

We also wrote about things that we would want 100 of...
footballs, dollars, hamsters, penguins, puppies, unicorns, and more!

Here are some things we would NOT 100 of...
bananas, bees, spider, and snakes.

We loved wearing our 100th Day hats around school.
The students couldn't believe they could wear them to lunch! ha!

We also did some dancing, counting, and cooking a special 100th Day Snack (pretzel rod and mini bagels).

Super proud of my kindergarten friends who have grown in so many ways this year!!!
